The institute operates a Student Welfare Committee, led by the Dean of Students Welfare, providing a platform for students to express opinions, suggestions, complaints, and demands for their own and the institute’s improvement. The Student Welfare Committee (SWC) is a non-profit and non-political student welfare association at SRPGC, fostering various clubs to organise co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. These activities, ranging from technical to literary, sports, and cultural events, not only boost confidence and self-belief but also promote teamwork and a sense of achievement.

Comprising the Dean of Student Welfare, Associate Dean (SW), Faculty Coordinator (SW), and Student Coordinators from each department, the Student Welfare Committee ensures comprehensive representation and management of student welfare initiatives.
